Happy Friday!!!!!!!
Recently I won three Give Aways! I won Patterns from my pal Lisa over at The Hemline. Lisa also has 2 etsy shops - one for Vintage stuffs and one for Handmade stuffs. AND she has an eBay shop!!
Tired just thinking about it aren't ya? Well, pace yourself when you check her out!
I participated in the Craftshop Shuffle. It's much like the Fab(ric) Shop Hop but smaller (so far.) I won one of the gift certificates donated by Lynda at Primitive Pieces by Lynda. I couldn't decide which lovely quilt pattern I wanted so I asked Lynda to choose for me between 3 "beginner" patterns. Can't wait to see what I get.
Finally, I won a super fantastic give away from Craft Gossip.com! Denise Felton's Needlework blog on this website will keep ya busy til yer dizzy! She finds the neatest stuff and many, many free patterns.
I am not here to brag about my good luck. I want to share all these great ladies and their fun sites with all of you. And add a few more.
Here are a few current giveaways that I hope you will check out:

Cass, who lives in That Old House is giving away this lovely prize package. Register by Sunday night to win a brand new copy of French General's Home Sewn and a lovely new box of French General Stationery!

ReplyDeleteYour so cute! I am glad you can smile and countdown to your 50th . . . I am only a year behind you and wish I was that brave!
I am not going to do the burlap tablecloth project requested . . . the tablecloth would require a seam and I just don't think that would turn out so great. BUT, I am going to pick-up some burlap next time I am at Wally-World to play with . . . maybe a runner or placemats . . . I will let you know how they turn out!
hello! what great giveaways! i love that book from french general, although i haven't bought it! thank you so much for visiting my blog :) have a great weekend with your family!
ReplyDeleteThis is "belles' real owner", I have a question about buttons:
ReplyDeleteMy singer has a 4 step button making process, but the button holes I sew have a lot of space between the stitches (I'm used to the thread being 2 thick lines down the edge). Is this the machine or the threads fault?
Would going over the hole twice help?
Elle
Also thanks, your site looks awesome :)
